Project: Hertfordshire Hall
Location: Hertfordshire
This Hertfordshire Hall project was a full renovation that required all the latest equipment to update this stunning family home. After discussions with the Client to understand their needs, we implemented LG OLED and Samsung QLED TV’s, Sonos Multi-room Audio, Starlink and 2N Gate Entry. All of the systems we decided to install have been brought together by a full Uni-Fi Home Network. Read below for the full kit breakdown of what we installed!

Sonos:
Sonos Multi Room Audio in the chosen habitable areas:
The Family Room
- Including audio return, meaning the client has the TV sound through the speakers.
The Dining area
The Kitchen
The Playroom
- Including audio return, meaning the client has the TV sound through the speakers.
To accompany the Sonos Amps we decided to install our trusty Origin Acoustic 8” in-ceiling speakers with speaker hoods throughout. With the ease of install & the potential to upgrade to the origin speakers, these were a great option for this client.
TV Distribution
We installed the following TV’s in these areas, with each location including a Future Automation Bracket – this provides full motion and access to future servicing. Using the Future Automation bracket allows us to have very simple control of the bracket, by being able to seamlessly move the bracket in & out with one finger.
- LG 43” 4K Smart TV LED – Drawing Room
- LG OLED C2 TV – Entrance Hall & PlayRoom
- Samsung 32” Frame QLED Smart TV – Breakfast Room, Master Bedroom & Second Floor Hall
- LG 55” Gallery TV – Basement Area
AV & Network Rack
We were given the space to be able to install a 15U Sanus Rack. This way, everything can be centrally located within the property in one location.
We were given the correct ventilation & cooling so we can keep everything at the right temperature within the area. This is majorly important when it comes to the longevity of electronic equipment.
Network Distribution: The most important part of the whole installation.
We decided to install a Ubiquiti Network within the House.
This gives the homeowner a full distributed (Wireless & Wired) Home Network throughout. We achieved this by using the following kit internally & externally:
- Dream Machine Pro
- 48 Port POE Pro Network Switch
- 24 Port POE Pro Network Switch
- 16 Port POE Pro Network Switch
- In-Wall U6 Access Points
- U6 Pro Access Points
- Exterior U6 Access Points
To enhance the Network, we opted to install Starlink due to the rural location of the property and limited options to provide a stable internet connection.
Gate Entry
Our client was looking for a seamless Gate Entry system and we opted for 2N Entry which included:
Indoor Panels (Audio Only) located within the Kitchen and First Floor Landing
- This gives the client the ability to answer the Gate from around the property.
Outdoor Panel (Touch Keypad/RFID Reader) located by the Gate
- Allows the homeowners to access using either their keyfobs or keypad
