This is our Hampstead renovation project, which is fully equipped with a full Control 4 system controlling the AV, lighting & HVAC. We also have a Rako Wireless Lighting System, Full Unifi Home Network, Multi-room Audio system and a fully equipped media room.

Control 4 Home Control System
Controlling / Integrating the below within this property:
- TV’s – Samsung OLEDs
- Audio Distribution
- Visual Distribution
- Media Room
- Heating & Cooling
- Lighting Control
Client Interface:
Control 4 Halo Remotes for each TV – being able to control the TV & Audio from the touch of a button. Whether that is Netflix, Apple TV or Sky, you just press the icon & watch the room come alive.
Control 4 App Control – Away from the home? Not a problem. With the Control 4 App you have all the same capabilities of control away from the home as you do inside the home. This client will now be able to control their Heating/Cooling, their Lighting & check up on the CCTV even when they are not at home.
HEOS Audio in every habitable areas
We are covering all of the below areas within this project.
- Family Room
- Dining Room
- Kitchen
- Reception Room
- Master Bedroom
- Master En-Suite & Dressing room
- Gym
- Garden Area
All areas with TV have Audio return, meaning the client has the TV sound through the speakers.
To accompany the HEOS Amps we decided to install Klipsch 8” in-ceiling speakers with speaker hoods throughout.
Wireless Rako Lighting Control System:
As the lighting control was a last minute addition to this project, we opted for the Rako Wireless Lighting system, as this was the best option for our client. With careful planning, we achieved Lighting Control in all areas of this large family home.
We installed Rako Wireless Classic Keypads within the property. Giving the client control of their lighting locally via the Keypad

Full App Control either from the Control 4 or Rako App
HDMI Matrix Set up:
We have a Pulse eight 8×8 matrix based in the AV Cupboard. This controls all TVs in the property.
We are distributing Sky Q & Apple TV around the house to all the TV Locations.
With the 8×8 Matrix in place, we were able to send the HDMi feeds to all 8 TV Locations around the house.
All of this is controlled by the Control 4 Control System, with local remotes.
Media Room:
We were asked to create a room for a Movie & Gaming, so we opted for a Samsung OLED TV & a Paradigm 5.2 Speaker set up
- 5.2 Speaker Setup
- 3 x Paradigm On Wall Speakers – Front 3
- 2 x Paradigm On Wall Speakers – Rears
- 2 x Paradigm Subwoofers
- We decided to go for a Samsung OLED 75” TV
The Speakers & Subwoofers were hidden within the joinery with acoustic material to still allow the sound to pass through. This was possible because of careful planning with the interior designer.
A Marantz AVR was the choice for Audio & Source Control.
We have Rako Lighting control in the area, enabling our client to create scenes that provide the perfect movie atmosphere.
We have Control 4 controlling the whole room. The client simply sits back with their Control 4 Halo remote & lets the rest happen by a simple touch of a button.
TV Distribution:
We installed TV’s throughout – Locations below:
- Media Room
- Reception Room
- Breakfast Room
- Master Bedroom
- Bedrooms
AV & Network Rack
We were tasked to place all of the AV & Network Equipment within a joinery unit. After careful planning with the Joinery company, we gave them our requirements to make this possible. Making sure our kit has good ventilation & pull out shelving, we were able to store all of our kit here.This allows everything to be centrally located within the property in one location.
We were given the correct ventilation & cooling so we can keep everything at the right temperature within the area. This is majorly important when it comes to the longevity of electronic equipment.
Network Distribution: The most important part of the whole installation
We decided to install a Full Ubiquiti Network within the House.
This gives the homeowner a full distributed (Wireless & Wired) Home Network throughout. We achieved this by using the following kit internally & externally
- Dream Machine Pro
- 24 Port POE Pro Network Switch
- In-Wall U6 Access Points
- U6 Pro Access Points
- Exterior U6 Access Points
Maintenance & Aftercare:
With everything being controlled within this project, we made the client aware that Maintenance is key.
This client opted for our Silver Service. Giving them the following.
- 4 annual visits per year (scheduled or call-out)
- 4 hour remote service (phone or system log in)
We are really proud of the longevity of this project & our client relationship.
